WORDS4work was set up in June 2000, to improve the standard of business writing. Since then, it has expanded into a whole range of activities, from wording for websites and running courses in the workplace, to PR and media strategies.. Its directors, Louise Page and Chris Hawes, have been professional writers for over 20 years.

Louise Page's writing credits range from journalism for The Sunday Times to The Archers and Jailbirds. She has lectured and taught all over the world. She is particularly interested in building the relationship between the Arts and Business.

Chris Hawes has taught writing and devised courses in many colleges and universities in this country and abroad. He has written journalism for the BBCi website and his book about being writer-in-residence in H M Prison Kirklevington Grange will be published later this year by Waterside Press.
